Meet Our Providers

Dr. Marcie E. Macolino, MD
Dr. Marcie E. Macolino, MD, completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Wheaton College and earned her Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has passed the National Board Exams.
Dr. Macolino is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been a valued member of Mt. Airy Pediatrics since completing her residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in 1996. She also served as an intern at the same institution. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in volunteer work, including projects with Habitat for Humanity and medical internships in Belize and Honduras through Mercy Ships.
Residing in Germantown with her husband Jerry, who works as a computer consultant, Dr. Macolino is a proud parent to four children, with Rachel currently attending high school. In her leisure time, she enjoys savoring tea, exploring Longwood Gardens, and delving into a good book.
Susan W. Nordlof, MSN, CRNP
Susan W. Nordlof, MSN, CRNP, received her Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College and both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. A dedicated member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Susan has been living in the neighborhood since August 2001, when she joined Mt. Airy Pediatrics as the first pediatric nurse practitioner. She has also enjoyed teaching pediatric nurse practitioner students at the University of Pennsylvania as a clinical faculty member and preceptor. Earlier in her career, Susan practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Lancaster, PA, contributed to various children's health projects in West Philadelphia during her nursing studies, and worked as a home visitor and drop-in group coordinator for adolescent mothers in Chicago.
Originally from Bucks County, PA, Susan has spent most of the past 20 years in Philadelphia. She is the mother of two and, outside of work, she can often be found at local ball fields, coffee shops, libraries, or community meetings. Susan lives in Mt. Airy with her husband and children.
